Designing and building home décor seemed a natural expansion of my experience as a costumer. I’ve always had a passion for color and fabric and their transforming effects. |

Some years ago, I had the opportunity to work with a very talented seamstress of window & home fashions to hone my skills for this specialty. I had the sewing skills from my costume work - but there is a slight shift when working in home fashions. With her help and guidance I learned industry standards and have added to the repertoire of my sewing and design skills. |

I am always surprised at how much I enjoy the process of putting together a drapery treatment, or pillow or slip cover. The process for these projects is a refreshing change. Its methodical nature is very centering for me. Going from the design concept to the final 3-dimensional form is exceptionally rewarding. |
