Theatre has been part of my life since childhood as both of my parents were, and still are, very involved in educational and community theatre productions. With my own loves of theatre and sewing, it seemed natural that I would eventually earn an MFA in costuming and pursue a career in the theatre.
I have found that I enjoy most working with smaller professional regional theatres and find it very fulfilling. More than I ever expected. It is quite a privilege to be part of a dedicated artistic team and face the challenges that come in creating live theatre.
